US Pipeline Meter Stations, Six locations in Kansas

This project consisted of installing all of the conduit, wire, and switchgear for six compressor stations for a pipeline running between Kansas and Wyoming. Much of this project changed as it was in progress and we were able to keep the project on schedule as changes were made sometimes daily.

On the project we installed all the conduit, wiring, switchgear, fire alarm system, and lighting. This was a fixed price contract in which we supplied an estimate before construction. However due to our expertise we were able to value engineer certain aspects of this project and were able to establish cost savings to the owner.

The
project completed was the total rewiring of a building after an explosion. Beside the wiring of the building, we installed the fire and gas detection system, lighting and all electrical systems in a Class I location. Subcontract labor was utilized on this project. In addition to this project, we have completed several fiber optic backbone installations at various Northern Natural Gas sites. The installations all included running the fiber optic backbone installations at various Northern Natural Gas sites. The installations all included running the fiber optic cable, terminating it, and testing it with our own single-mode and multi-mode testing equipment.

DEI Installed a CAT 6 structured cable system with the multi-mode fiber backbone for data and a CAT 3 cable for voice. This project was bid according to specifications, however we valued engineered the project saving the school district $19,000.00. This project was completed on time. No subcontract labor was utilized.
